This is a great video to watch.

Hey, I'm starting a little project where I'm gathering peer reviewed articles about chemo. From watching the below video I managed to extract this peer reviewed article found at 52 seconds in. I plan to find more:

2.3% for cytotoxic chemotherapy yet a placebo has 30% via wikipedia:

Note the video in the original post and the video I posted are slightly different.

Todo: find additional peer reviewed articles proving the ineffectiveness of chemo and find a scholarly source on the effectiveness on a placebo. Thanks for letting me join the site.

Found another example of how chemotherapy is less effective than a placebo.

As you can see the untreated patients have a 2% lower chance of survival for the first two years. An uninformed person might be like great, treatment for the win. Hold, on there is no mention of a placebo. Since a placebo would increase the odds, you know what that means? Yes, its safe to say the untreated, watchful waiting, or deferred treatment group would have had a better chance with a sugar pill than the treated group.

"early treatment group was 88%, 73%, 44%, and 18%. For the deferred therapy group the percent overall survival was 86%, 71%, 37%, and 12%." Cochrane Database Syst Rev. 2002;(1):CD003506.

At 1:19 there is a bunch of peer reviewed sources, its hard to read them all here is 18. Impact of efforts to increase participation in repetitive screenings for early breast cancer detection.
